Arab Bank and Equity Estate launched a joint venture in 2003. This JV invested over EUR 132 million between 2003 and 2006 and focussed on Germany and Benelux, on offices and logistics.
Equity Estate co-invested 7.5% in the JV alongside its partner Arab bank.
In 2016 Arab Bank launched a semi-open ended fund, AB Alternative Fund SICAV-SIF. This fund acquired Arab Bank's stake in AB CPFM Europroperty Fund in 2016.
In April 2018 Equity Estate sold its 7.5% stake to the fund and in July 2018 Equity Estate resigned as asset manager and propco director for the joint venture.
